Rain affects Pudong flights
RAINSTORMS hit most of the city early this morning, postponing several incoming and outgoing flights at Pudong International Airport.
The good news is that the rain will stop tomorrow and it will be dry at least to the weekend, weathermen said today.
Up to noon, 34 flights were postponed because of the bad weather. Most of affected flights were Southeastern Asian flights, the airport immigration police said.
With a rainbelt covering the city, rainfall in downtown and suburban areas measured about 28 millimeters up to 8am, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
From tomorrow, temperatures are expected to rise gradually. On Friday and at the weekend temperatures are expected to reach up to 33 degrees with lows between 21 and 22 degrees.
