Relatives seek crash witnesses
THE relatives of a woman seriously injured when she was hit by a speeding car are offering 3,000 yuan (US$446) for any witnesses who can help them find the driver.
Wang Qing, 26, from central China's Hubei Province, is still waiting for further treatment after surgery to her head, legs and hands.
"We really hope someone would stand up and help us nail down the driver," said Wang Feng, the woman's brother, who said the family had borrowed a lot of money to pay the medical costs. "No mater how slim the chance we will give it a try."
The accident happened on August 26, at 11:45pm when Wang and a colleague were walking home after work on Qinghu Road in suburban Qingpu District.
Both were hit by the car, which sped off. Officers only know that the car was red. The plate number wasn't known.
