Roads in Xintiandi Closed For 2011 Event

ROAD in downtown Xintiandi area will be closed to most traffic on Friday night and early Saturday because of the New Year gala being held there, police reminded city residents yesterday.
All vehicles except buses will be banned from Hubin Road and Shunchang Road in Luwan District from midnight on Friday to 1am Saturday. The same restrictions will be enforced in the area surrounded by Madang Road, Zizhong Road, Ji'an Road, Chongde Road, Shunchang Road and Taicang Road from 7pm Friday to 1am Saturday.
