Shanghai Disneyland to feature first Pirates-themed land

SHANGHAI Disneyland, which is still under construction, will have a themed territory modeled after the settings in the blockbuster film “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the developer said today.
This is one of the six themed territories in the amusement park and it will be named Treasure Cove. Visitors can enjoy a high-tech boat ride, called Battle of the Sunken Treasure. Shanghai Disneyland is part of the Shanghai Disney Resort which also consists of hotels, shops and restaurants.
The main structure of Treasure Cove has been built, marking a milestone in the resort development.
