Shanghai enjoyed longest spring this year
SAY goodbye to the longest spring in Shanghai.
The city officially entered summer yesterday if there is no dramatic changes in temperature over the next few days, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
That means Shanghai saw spring this year for 117 days since it officially started on February 9, which is the longest spring since the local meteorological record was established in 1872.
Meanwhile, students who take the Chinese College Entrance Examination tomorrow and Wednesday will be affected by thunderstorms with gusty wind, but it is only transitorily.
Forecasters said the city will primarily be cloudy and overcast during the two-day exam.
