Shanghai state-owned real estate company offers online platform

SHANGHAI Urban Construction Realty Development Co Ltd kicked off an online service platform, the first one for a state-owned real estate company in the city, on Wednesday.

The "Rich Garden" platform, with a website and an application, allows customers to see 3D depictions of the houses and communities developed by the company in Shanghai and other cities, and make an order online.

Buyers can also decorate the virtual house first with provided samples of wallpaper, paint and furniture, helping them make decisions on individualized decoration for their real house.

Property-management service can also be booked on the platform, with the whole process reported. Users can also share their experiences and opinions about it.
