Shanghai tour bus crash killed 13 in Jiangsu

AT least 13 people were killed and more than 20 injured after a Shanghai tour bus collided head-on with a truck on an expressway in neighboring Jiangsu Province this morning.
Carrying 33 passengers on board, the bus was en route to Changshu City for a peony flower show when it suddenly dashed over the guardrail onto the opposite lane on the Yanjiang Expressway at around 9:15am and collided with a coming truck.
Witnesses said they saw more than eight bodies lying on the road as both vehicles turned over after the collision.
The more than 20 injurers have been sent to the Changshu Hospital.
A tire burst might cause the bus to lose its control, according to preliminary investigation.
