Shanghai tourists all safe

Shanghai tourists on organized trips in Taiwan are safe, according to reports from travel agents in the city.
There were about 70 tourist groups from Shanghai, with a total of 1,860 tourists, in Taiwan yesterday, the Shanghai Tourism Bureau said.
Two groups were traveling near Nantou when the earthquake hit the county, but they were not affected.
So far, there have been no reports of deaths or injuries among visitors from the mainland, said Man Hongwei, of the Association for Tourism Exchange Across the Taiwan Strait.
