Short tour trips a breeze by bus

Watch dragon-boat races, eat fresh peaches, sniff the flowers. Traveling to the suburbs and neighboring provinces during the 2010 World Expo will be easy through packages from the Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Center.

In June, tourists will be able to go to Jiaxing of Zhejaing Province or Luodian, Baoshan District, to watch boat competitions and enjoy zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.

In July and August, peach and water packages will be available. Buses will take tourists to two local beaches in the city, or to Pudong New Area for the first batch of peaches of the year.

During the National Day holiday in fall, people can go to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, or Qingpu District to enjoy osmanthus.

Tourists can log on the center's official Website www.chinastbc.com or dial the hotline 6426-5555. Tickets are also available at FamilyMarts and 16 travel consultation centers in the city. People can also book tickets for the Expo site from the center on the Website.
