A CHANGE in the weather is forecast this week, with sunshine bringing welcome relief after days of gray skies, cool temperatures and rain.

But keep an umbrella handy today, as some showers are still likely, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

Temperatures will climb to 24 degrees Celsius, said officials.

Tomorrow, sunshine is set to return as a low pressure front moves out to sea and temperatures of 28 degrees forecast.
