Smog may end on Sunday evening, mercury to climb on weekend

THE smoggy condition is expected to end Sunday evening as a strong easterly wind is approaching, forecasters said.

Air quality will remain moderately or lightly polluted until Sunday.

Mercury will continue to climb over the weekend, with the high forecasted to reach 23 degrees Celsius.

But next week, a cold front will arrive, lowering the temperature and bringing rains.
