Stay with families in Jinshan
FAMILIES in southwestern Jinshan District have become the first in Shanghai to offer their houses to welcome homestay visitors in December, ahead of World Expo next year, China News Service reported today.
Guests will be welcomed into the homes of residents in Zhonghong Village in Fengjin Town, known for its farmer artists who paint in bright colors, and Zhonghua Village in Langxia Town, a popular destination for urban travelers looking for the peace of the countryside.
The homestays will provide another accommodation option for 70 million expected visitors to Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
