PUBLIC officials can travel to Taiwan now. According to the travel policy for mainland citizens to Taiwan Island, public officials whose information is registered at the exit-entry administration can apply to travel to Taiwan.
Applicants need to have the permission of their organizations to complete the process, which will be examined by the exit-entry administration.
