Thunderstorm forecast to hit city this afternoon
A THUNDERSTORM is expected to hit Shanghai later today, weathermen said.
Rainfall could be medium to heavy in some areas with the temperature today ranging between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
The temperature will rise gradually this week, but it will not exceed 33 degrees. Showers were forecast to hit parts of the city everyday through Thursday.
Yesterday the mercury peaked at 31 degrees with wind out of the northeast.
