Tighter railway cargo checks

SHANGHAI railway police said yesterday that they have strengthened security checks on cargo transport following tighter checks on passengers during the ongoing 18th CPC National Congress. The officers will check train carriages at three local rail cargo stations, which handle an average of about 24,870 tons of goods per day.
