The passport is valid for one year, expiring on September 26, 2010.

Visitors can collect commemorative stamps from each attraction to paste into the booklets for a souvenir, the administration said.

Discounts apply with the passport to tickets for the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Maglev train, Shanghai Botanical Garden, Shanghai Animation Film Studio, Shanghai Zoo, Changfeng Ocean World, National Anthem Memorial Square, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, Madame Tussauds Shanghai, Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai Museum, Lupu Bridge Climb, SSS Indoor Skiing Site, Shanghai Circuit, Fengjing Town, Chinese Folk Painting Village, Sheshan National Holiday Resort, the Square Pagoda in Songjiang, Zhujiajiao Town, Oriental Land, Xisha Wetlands and Shanghai Urban Vegetable Garden.

About 1,000 people attended the booklet's launch ceremony at the new National Anthem Memorial Square on Jingzhou Road, Yangpu District.
