Traffic hub for Zhuqiao

SHANGHAI East Station, a traffic hub incorporating metro and high-speed rail train lines, will be located in Zhuqiao Town in Pudong New Area, urban planning authorities announced.
The station will include 22 rail lines and 10 platforms, and provide a connection line between Shanghai’s two airports, according to Shanghai Municipal Planning and Land Resources Administration.Construction is scheduled to start next year.
In addition, a metro line with eight stations totaling 68 kilometers will start from the Hongqiao transport hub and its terminal will be at East Station, according to the plan.
