Transport hub for Lingang

A TRANSPORT hub is to be built in Lingang, one of the five satellite cities earmarked for development over the next five years. The hub will include a subway terminus for Line 16, a bus terminal, taxi stands and rental bicycles.
Planners envision many high-tech and port companies locating in Lingang as the town is on the southeastern tip of the Pudong New Area and near Yangshan Deep Water Port. Shanghai Urban Construction Design and Research Institute has been hired to build the hub.
