Truck-bicycle collision results in death

A woman was killed after she was hit by a truck and dragged for 5 meters while riding a bicycle in Changning District about 10:30am yesterday.
The accident happened at Kaixuan Road and Anshun Road. The truck, running on Anshun Road, was turning right on Kaixuan Road. Its rear wheel hit the bicycle rider, who was also making a right turn.
The woman, 53, died immediately, police said. Traffic was affected for about 30 minutes. Police are still investigating to decide who takes the major responsibility.
