Turbines harness wind power
THREE wind turbines have begun working along Donghai Bridge as part of the largest wind-power generator in Asia, a local newspaper reported today.
The three turbines are among 34 turbines to be put into use early next year, according to the Jiefang Daily report.
The project, the first to be sited on the coast, cost a total of 2.365 billion yuan (US$346 million) jointly invested by four companies including China Datang Corporation, Shanghai Green Energy Co and China Guangdong Nuclear Group.
