Typhoon Neoguri set to bring gales to Delta

TYPHOON Neoguri is moving from the Pacific Ocean toward China’s coastal areas, the meteorological authority forecast yesterday.
The typhoon was located 1,180 kilometers southeast of Taipei at 5pm yesterday, with wind speeds of up to 180km per hour at the center, the National Meteorological Center said. It is forecast to arrive at the southeastern part of the East China Sea tomorrow morning. It will bring strong gales to the Yangtze River estuary, the center said.
