WARM weather is expected to return this week, but rain also is likely during a couple of days, forecasters said yesterday.

The temperature will climb gradually, reaching a high of 25 degrees Celsius late this week, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

Today should be partly cloudy, with a low of 9 degrees Celsius and a high of 18 degrees. Rain is forecast for tonight.

Tomorrow should be overcast with rain, with a low of 14 degrees Celsius and a high of 20 degrees. Wednesday is forecast to be cloudy, with a low of 16 degrees and a high of 24 degrees.

Thursday and Friday are likely to be partly cloudy, with a low of about 14 degrees and a high of 25 degrees.

Forecasters advised residents to dress properly to avoid getting cold due to the frequent changes in weather conditions and the temperature differences between day and night.
