Warm weather on way
THIS week will start off mostly sunny and warm, weathermen said yesterday.
Today will be sunny with a few clouds and a high of 27 degrees Celsius. The low will be 14 degrees, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
The clear skies will stick around tomorrow with the mercury climbing to 30 degrees.
However, a short thundershower is expected tomorrow evening, which will bring the temperature down to 23 degrees on Wednesday, said Wang Yuan, the bureau's weather anchorwoman.
Daytime highs for the rest of the week will hover around 22 to 26 degrees with lows around 13 to 15 degrees, the bureau said.
Wang also forecast that there is a chance of rain on Friday morning and Saturday afternoon.
