Warmer weather on horizon for weekend
WARMER temperatures are expected for the weekend, although forecasters say mostly cloudy skies could lead to light rains on Sunday.
Friday is expected to see dry and cloudy condition with the high temperature climbing up to 17 degrees Celsius. The warming trend is set to continue into Saturday, when the high could reach 18 degrees.
Scattered drizzles are forecast for late Sunday. The return of wetter weather is unlikely to trigger cooler temperatures though, as forecasters see the mercury reaching 20 degrees that day.
By Monday, temperatures could drop down into the mid-teens as cold front reaches the city. By Tuesday, the cold air is expected to move away, leading to the return of temperatures in the 20-degree range.
