Weather bureau issues yellow fog alert

THE Shanghai Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow fog alert at 1:45pm today.
Visibility in suburban Qingpu and Songjiang districts was below 500 meters. There are four alert levels: blue, yellow, orange and red with blue being the lowest warning.
It is expected the fog will continue until late tonight when a mild cold front is expected to reach the city.
It will turn partly sunny with the mercury between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
The temperature will range from 8 to 12 degrees today
