Weather to remain stable over weekend
The fine and refreshing weather should continue this weekend with the temperatures remaining stable, weathermen said today.
The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau says the weather for the three days after the seven-day holiday is forecast to be sunny to cloudy with temperatures ranging from a low of 19 degrees Celsius to a high of 27 degrees.
The bureau says the weather should be warm during the day and cool at night, making it suitable for outdoor activities.
"It is probably the best time of the year," the bureau added.
But officials also forecast a cold front arriving next week, bringing some rainfall and cooling the city a little.
According to the bureau's five-day forecast, rain will affect Shanghai on Monday and Tuesday, and the temperature on Tuesday could drop to a low of 18 degrees.
