Week will start off warm, but end cold
THE temperature will bounce up and down like a yo-yo this week.
The mercury is set to rise early in the week, hitting a high of 18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, before dropping down to more seasonal temperatures late this week, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.
Partly sunny skies with a temperature ranging between 6 and 14 degrees was forecast today.
Tomorrow should be much the same although the mercury will range between 8 and 16 degrees.
The bureau said it will be cloudy with a chance of drizzle on Wednesday as the temperature hits 18 degrees.
However, the mercury is expected to drop on Wednesday night, the bureau said.
Rain was forecast on Thursday and the temperature will dip to a high of 9 degrees.
The bureau called for a high of 5 degrees on Friday.
