Weekend drizzle but temperature cool

Keep an umbrella handy as drizzle is forecast over the weekend but the mercury should be pleasant, meteorologists said yesterday.

A humid and warm air mass from the southwest will bring the rain but the temperature difference between day and night is small, making it comfortable, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.

It should be overcast to cloudy with light rain today and the maximum temperature is 23 degrees.

A similar weather is seen tomorrow, with the highest temperature falling 1 degree, forecasters said.

The mercury is stable over the next five days as it will range between a low of 16 degrees Celsius and a high of 23 degrees.

Monday may be cloudy, with the mercury between a low of 16 degrees and a high of 20 degrees. Light rain will return from Tuesday, with the highest temperature expected at 21 degrees on Tuesday and 22 degrees on Wednesday.
