Weekend will be warm, but pollution remains a problem
A warm, but foggy weekend is on the cards, forecasters said yesterday.
Several areas will wake to a light haze due to pollution blown into the city on a northwesterly wind, and the situation is likely to get worse as the day goes on, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said. The temperature will range from a low of 9 degrees Celsius to a high of 20, it said. Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday will remain warm, with lows of between 7 and 9 degrees and a high of 15.
