SHANGHAI has officially entered winter, the city's weather bureau announced yesterday.
The bureau said December 14 was the first day of winter this season after the average temperature dipped below 10 degrees Celsius for five straight
days. Yesterday's average temperature was 4.9 degrees. Meteorologists said today will be mostly sunny with a high of 14 degrees.
