Worker buried

A CONSTRUCTION worker was buried but not seriously injured on Sunday afternoon when a cellar he was digging underneath a villa home caved in, Xinmin.cn reported yesterday. The house in Yangpu District is being renovated. It is unclear whether the house owner had a permit to dig the cellar. The cellar collapsed about 5pm and buried the worker up to his shoulders, witnesses said. Firefighters spent about an hour to dig him out. He had only bruises when taken to the hospital.
