1 killed as minibus overturns

ONE person was killed and several others were injured yesterday when a minibus collided with a coach in the Pudong New Area, police said.
All of the people hurt were passengers on the minibus, which overturned about 5:30am near the junction of Jiyang and Dezhou roads, they said.
The vehicle flipped after its driver — a 24-year-old man surnamed He — lost control, police said.
They didn’t say how many people were injured, but said that some of them needed hospital treatment.
A report by new portal xinmin.cn said the minibus was carrying about a dozen construction workers at the time of the crash, though this was not confirmed by police, who said they are investigating.
