11 charged over fatal bar brawl

TWO men have been charged with murder following the deaths of three people in a bar brawl in late March, the Pudong New Area People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
Nine others have been charged with related crimes, including assault and intentional injury.
Two of the 11 were charged in absentia, and are being sought by police, the prosecutors said.
The incident happened at a bar in Huinan Town on March 29, when an argument between two patrons escalated into an armed fight between their two groups of friends.
Three people suffered fatal wounds in the conflict and two men, identified as Wang Xuefu and Wang Dongfeng, have been charged with their murder.
