11 teen girls saved from Shanghai-based prostitution ring

Eleven underage girls from Sichuan Province have been rescued from a Shanghai-based prostitution gang, city police said today.
Police have eight suspects in custody, including the alleged ringleader, He Shanbiao, a 40-year-old man from Chongqing.
Police said male gang members first wooed the young girls and then brought them to He in Shanghai. Officers said He raped the girls and forced them to work as prostitutes.
The girls were aged between 13 and 17 and from Luzhou and Chongqing, according to police.
Police said they busted the gang after visiting spa centers in the city that were offering prostitutes to customers and watching out for those who spoke with either a Luzhou or Chongqing accent.
