TWELVE people suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning after having dinner at a Beijing-style hotpot restaurant on Tuesday, STV reported yesterday. The victims, all colleagues in a company, were having dinner in a closed room and suffered from dizziness and nausea. They were later rushed to a hospital in the Pudong New Area, and discharged after receiving large amount of oxygen in a hospital.
