1,600 boxes of illegal fireworks seized

Fire prevention officers in Jinshan District seized nearly 1,600 boxes of illegally made firecrackers and other fireworks early this morning.
Investigators busted the underground workshop in the wee hours and found fireworks that filled three storerooms. The confiscated goods have been sent to a warehouse pending their destruction.
Suspects in the case are being sought.
