2 dead after car hits truck on highway to Chongming

TWO people were killed and three others slightly injured in a traffic accident on the G40 Highway in Shanghai yesterday morning. The crash caused a traffic jam on the highway toward Chongming Island.
A car hit a container truck at 5:08am in a rear-end collision incident on the Changjiang Bridge, police said. The road sections affected by the accident have been cleared and traffic has returned to normal, they said. An investigation into the crash is underway.
