2 held over illegal fireworks

TWO people were detained after police stopped a truck carrying 15 tons of illegal fireworks and firecrackers in Jiading District, Labor Daily reported yesterday. Investigators found 700 boxes of the explosives, some of them printed with the words “Shanghai Jinqilin Firecrackers Co” in the vehicle.
