2 seniors die in fire

TWO senior residents died in a blaze at their home in Shanghai early yesterday. The fire broke out at 3:39am in an apartment located in an old lane of South Changqiao Road. It was put out 15 minutes later but not before two residents, in their 70s, succumbed. The 20-square-meter, one-story apartment is a brick and wooden structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
