2 suspects held for murder

local police have detained two people for the murder of a man in a residential community in Xuhui District.
The victim, described as a Shanghainese and in his 40s by neighbors, was found dead in his rented apartment on Saturday afternoon with wounds on his body. A woman, surnamed Wu, said she heard arguments and fights at 4am that day. Xuhui police said a preliminary investigation indicated that the two suspects had a dispute with the man over a love affair and stabbed him to death.
