20 injured after bus crash

A BUS crashed onto a green divider near an exit ramp at Xupu Bridge early yesterday, injuring about 20 people.
The injured passengers were rushed to Renji Hospital. Three people fractured their bones but all of them were discharged from the hospital by afternoon, an official with the operator, Shanghai Jinqiu Taxi Company, told Shanghai Daily.
The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
“The driver claimed that a car in front of him suddenly switched lanes, which forced him to turn left,” the official, surnamed Qi said.
However, a passenger told Shanghai Television Station that the accident was caused by brake problems.
