3 gamblers detained

THREE people have been held for gambling on the World Cup and offering a betting service to others, police said yesterday.
The ringleader opened accounts with a site based overseas and charged 1.2 percent commission on the bets placed. Another man surnamed Guo was given administrative detention for betting on the site.
