300 events to offer help for startups
SHANGHAI Human Resources and Social Security Bureau launched this year’s startup service campaign yesterday, announcing about 300 activities are to be organized around the city.
These include an event to provide comprehensive services to promote employment and startups among college students, lectures from business founders, an entrepreneurial training program for students, a selection of outstanding new entrepreneurs, a competition of college students’ scientific and technological works, as well as other public service events.
The events, to be held over the rest of this year, will target all types of business founders and provide them support at various stages of startups by integrating resources from the government, universities, innovation parks and social organizations.
In the name of “All for Founders, Startup for All,” the campaign was initiated last year and has organized more than 350 events to promote local policies and provide various assistance for startups, benefiting about 10,000 new entrepreneurs.
