50 drugged up drivers held

MORE than 50 drivers who had taken drugs before getting behind the wheel were detained by police at city highway entrances over the past three months. They were among 180 drug users stopped at entrances, Qingpu District police said yesterday. Police did not say what drugs were involved, though in one case methamphetamine was found in an unlicensed taxi stopped at the entrance to Huchang Highway.
