6 hurt as ferry hits cargo ship near Wusong port

Six people were injured after a ferry collided with a small cargo ship at 11:45pm yesterday near Wusong port.

The ferry, with 40 passengers aboard, hit the cargo ship loaded with wood that was traveling from Zhangjiagang city in Jiangsu Province to Wusong.

Six passengers sustained minor injuries and were sent to a hospital.

The maritime authority has started to look into the incident.
