62 percent Shanghai residents satisfied with their jobs
LOCAL residents showed their dedication to their job and passion for entrepreneurship, according to a survey released yesterday.
About 62.3 percent of the interviewed citizens showed the affection toward their current jobs. Among them, 25.7 percent showed strong love to their job. Only 1.7 percent of the interviewees said they don’t like their current job, Shanghai Statistics Bureau said.
What’s more, 85 percent of the interviewees said they would work overtime in order to finish their work as scheduled.
Among the interviewees, 53.7 percent said they were eager to start their own business. Of them, 20.6 percent said their startup plan are already in process.
However, the rate of balance between jobs and personal lives seems to be the same. If there is a conflict between work and life, 42.1 percent would put work as their top priority, 42.5 percent said they wouldn’t let work disrupt their normal life, and the rest said it depends.
