Air purifiers fail tests

FOUR batches of air purifiers, including products made by Xiaomi Inc, failed quality tests, Shanghai’s quality watchdog said yesterday. The products made by Xiaomi were sold through online retailer JD.com and failed due to their substandard clean air delivery rate and noise levels. They were among 36 batches of air purifiers tested by the watchdog.
