Airline sorry for ‘lost’ bus

CHINA Eastern Airlines apologized to passengers yesterday after one of its shuttle buses took about 60 travelers to the wrong apron at Hongqiao airport, causing a minor delay to their flight.
The shuttle bus took the passengers booked on flight MU2469 to Wuhan in central Hubei Province to the nearby flight MU5565 bound for Xiamen in southeast Fujian Province around noon. China Eastern said the error occurred because despatch information had been changed, but the shuttle crew failed to check the updated details. The flight to Wuhan was delayed 17 minutes by the mix-up.
