All singing, all dancing application for citizens
ONE application, many functions — the city government is backing a multitasking app that allows citizens to pay for water, gas and even traffic violations via a few clicks online.
The Citizen Cloud app can be used to receive information about health, food, transport and community services, to check the arrival time of the next bus, and to inquire about medical insurance, provident funds, pensions, and tax and credit records.
A total of 56 service applications are covered by the app, with a further 44 scheduled to be available later this year, including registering at hospitals and paying traffic fines.
More than 6.6 million people had registered for the app by the end of last month. The application is free.
