FLIGHT attendants and some passengers have started to dress like famous comic book, animation and video game characters, including those in “Spider-Man” and “Final Fantasy,” on a Spring Airlines flight from Shanghai to Osaka. The budget airline launched the first animation cosplay flight on the Chinese mainland to attract animation fans. Three musicians also gave a performance in the air. The Shanghai-based carrier said it planned more such flights between Shanghai and Japan that encourage passengers get onboard in the costumes of their favorite animation figures. It is mainly attracting passengers between 25 and 35, who can take the flight as a fun way to meet other cosplay fans, a press officer with the airline said.
